So yeah, what has happened... Well I possibly had a mild version of swine flu, hence my being home atm. Dunno if it was it though, I mean yeah, I got a pretty high fever quite fast, had a flu, throat ache etc, the whole arsenal, but hey, how could I know for sure I had it? That's right, I can't know it for sure. Well, I felt like shit for only two or three days, so it's over now, whatever it was.
And theeeen, I was at London >: D It's been a while already, but hey, you can never praise London enough, aye? I mean, the whole place was just, wow. The huge stores (like Harrods and a wonderful, wonderful bookstore called Foyles), the underground system, the accent!!!, all the amazing places and all... Well, to put briefly, I fell in love with the place. I'm so looking forward to going there again, maybe for a longer time? Who knows. But I've always sort of dreamed of living abroard, especially in England...
Krhm, enough day dreaming then. As you all know (well atleast the very few people who might actually read this, and like I said, there's not many of 'em), I'm addicted to history. Especially the second world war. I find it so goddamn fascinating (and well, almost all history in general) that I've decided to try and make a career focusing on history. I've been thinking about becoming a history teacher, but from what I've heard, it's really hard for them to get a permanent job. So yeah, dunno. But I'd really love to have a history involving job in the future. Well, all I can do now is try hard, eh? And it's not like I don't have time, I'm only going to high school next year xD
And now that we're at the subject (yup, more history loving coming up, prepare yourself, history haters), I just have to praise a mini-series called Band of Brothers. It's a quite new (21st century stuff) miniseries based on an awesome book which goes by the same name, written by Stephen E. Ambrose. The series is set during the second world war, and it tells a true story of E company (Easy), which is a part of 101st Airborne Division. The series tells a story about their experiences during the ww2, starting from their training and ending at the end of the war. I'm telling you, if you're interested in history at all, you should totally check the series out. It's not all war-stuff, it focuses on the many great characters' lives and relationships in general too. It's very touching and from time to time very funny too. And besides, there's many hot men in army uniforms xD So I tell you, check it out!
Damn, I got distracted again. My every journal entry is the same, written when I'm sick and they all contain some heavy praising of the stuff I like xD Well, it's MY journal, no judging there at the other side of the screen!
But yeah, that's all (for now.... kukukukukukuku). So see choo ppls!
PS. I've seen Inglourious Basterds now three times. Can't wait till it comes out on dvd. The movie is just so awesome, and besides, Landa is an awesome character >: D The man is like... very old, and he's a true bastard in the movie, but there's still something goddamn sexy about him. But yeah, krhm. See ya all.
